EEV Events and Meetings

  • All members are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting.

    • Tue 24 Oct 2023

    • 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

    If you are able to join us in-person, please come along to our offices at 1 Tripovich Street in Brunswick. Please arrive at 6:15 for a light dinner before the AGM commences at 6.30pm.

    For those unable to attend in person, you may participate online.

    • The AGM will include an overview of our activities over the past 12 months and elections for the Committee of Management.

    • The AGM will be followed by a screening of Rachel's Farm a film about the transformation of Rachel Ward and Bryan Brown's farm from conventional to regenerative agricultural practices.

    • Our Annual Report will be available to download from our website on 14 October 2023.

  • These monthly meetings are an opportunity for teachers of VCE Environmental Science to informally meet after school hours to share ideas and ask questions.

    You will receive an email with more details and a Zoom link a few days before the scheduled meeting.

  • Every term, EEV invites early learning, primary and secondary educators and teachers to gather together and spend time sharing news and updates, listening to guest speakers and exploring opportunities to collaborate with others.

    We encourage you to tell us what else you’d like to experience at this meetings, so please add your ideas to our padlet board.

  • These full day workshops are designed to support teachers and staff participating in Sustainability Victoria’s ResourceSmart Schools Program in the Western Metro and Barwon South West regions.

    Each meeting focuses on a theme such as Waste, Water, Biodiversity or Energy, and includes guest speakers and experts on these topics.

    The day also include time for staff to work on uploading documents and entering data for any of the modules with the assistance of EEV’s RSS facilitators.

    EEV has some CRT funding ($363 + GST) for schools or teachers in need.

  • Teachers Environment Networks (TENs) are a great way to learn about what is happening in your local area.

    EEV collaborates with Hobsons Bay City Council to deliver TEN meetings every term to teachers working in this local government area.

    These meetings are open to early childhood, primary and secondary educators, teachers and staff.
