More trees for a cooler greener west:
Trees and Shrubs
lower, middle, and upper storey trees and shrubs
Do you want your out-of-bounds section peppered with Gold Dust Wattle?
Would you like a Drooping Sheoak next to your oval?
Some River Red Gums by the borders?
Your school will receive a variety of lower, middle, and upper storey trees and shrubs. These include:
Lower-storey trees
These will make up 55% of your total tree order.
Lower story trees include: Gold Dust Wattle, Hedge Wattle, Prickly Moses, Silver Banksia, Sweet Bursaria, Bottlebrush, Hop Bush, Black Paperbark, and Tree Violet.
Mid-storey trees
These will make up 20% of your total tree order.
Mid-story trees include: Lightwood (Acacia implexa), Black Sheoak (Allocasuarina littoralis), and Drooping Sheoak (Allocasuarina verticilata).
Upper-storey trees
These will make up 25% of your total tree order.
Upper-story trees include: Silver Wattle, Blackwood, River Red Gum, Yellow Gum, Yellow Box, Grey Box, Swamp Gum and Manna Gum.
If your plants are delivered prior to your planting day, use this guide to care for them and give them the best start.
